This text sets out Parsline’s commitments on service quality, environmental impact and employee safety. The commitments are treated as an integral part of our contracts.
1. Our quality commitment
- Single point of responsibility. Every shipment has a named person responsible for it; whichever link of the chain it is in, the client speaks to a single contact.
- Traceability. The cargo’s location, the reason for any delay and the next step are recorded and shared on request.
- Realistic commitments. No transit time that cannot be met is given. When a deviation from the projected time arises, the client is informed before they notice the deviation themselves.
- Deviation log. Every disruption is recorded together with its root cause; recurring deviations result in a process change.
- Document accuracy. The consistency of the information on bills of lading, invoices, certificates of origin and customs declarations is checked before dispatch.
2. Our environmental commitment
- No improvement without measurement. CO₂ emissions can be calculated per shipment and are reported when the client requests it.
- Transparency in mode selection. Between air and sea alternatives, not only time and cost but also the difference in emissions is presented.
- Load factor. Consolidation and load planning are optimised so that empty volume is not transported.
- Waste and packaging. Packaging waste is separated in bonded warehouse and handling processes; reusable transport equipment is preferred.
- Paperless operations. Electronic documents are used wherever the legislation permits.
If you would like to use an independent tool to calculate emissions, you can use the carbon calculator link in the top bar of our site.
3. Occupational health and safety
- Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and the related regulations is fundamental.
- Risk assessments are carried out in bonded warehouse, handling and loading areas; the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
- Forklifts and stackers are operated only by staff holding a valid operator licence.
- Workplace accidents and near-miss incidents are recorded and evaluated.
- Subcontractors are expected to comply with the same standards.
4. Dangerous goods (DGR / IMDG / ADR)
Dangerous goods shipments are handled only by staff who have received the relevant training, within the framework of the IATA DGR, the IMDG Code or ADR rules according to the mode of the consignment. Responsibility for classification, packaging, labelling and declaration is carried out jointly with the shipper; no shipment is accepted with an incomplete or incorrect declaration.
5. Temperature-controlled and sensitive cargo
For consignments requiring a cold chain, the temperature range is defined in the contract, monitored throughout carriage, and the record is shared together with the delivery. Any break in the chain is reported to the client immediately.
6. Business ethics
- Bribery and facilitation payments are not accepted under any circumstances.
- Sanctions lists and export control regimes are checked before dispatch.
- Forced labour and child labour are not tolerated in our supply chain.
- Clients’ commercial information is protected under the Privacy Policy.
7. Feedback
If you encounter a situation that contradicts these commitments, report it to info@parslinelogistics.com. Reports are recorded and the outcome is communicated to the person who reported it.
